Synbioxil^®- bio-based dispersions

In response to global environmental challenges, Synthos is consistently implementing its Sustainable Development Strategy, which aims to produce only fully sustainable products by 2030. One of the key steps in this direction is the development of innovative technologies based on bio-based raw materials.

Our SYNBIOXIL^® dispersions are an innovative product line that combines high quality with environmental concerns. They contain up to 30% bio-based raw materials (actual carbon content according to ASTM D6866-20, Method B) and offer performance comparable to traditional fossil fuel based dispersions. This allows our customers to develop more sustainable formulations without compromising on performance.

SYNBIOXIL^® also means no environmental hazards – our dispersions are free of APEOs, solvents, harmful plasticisers and other substances on the SVHC list (Substances of Very High Concern, according to the REACH regulation). They also have a low VOC/SVOC content and are free of formaldehyde.

We can also offer our bio-based dispersions in accordance with the ISCC+ standard and the mass balance approach.
