Rafinat 1

Raffinate 1 is obtained as a by-product accompanied butadiene production. Raffinate 1 is a mixture of hydrocarbon´s mixture from the first extractive distillation section.

Purpose

Raffinate 1 is used as raw material for production MTBE (methyl-terc.buthylether). This mixture is an additive for gasolines (petrols).

Raffinate 1 in its liquid phase is colorless, transparent liquid with characteristic odor. The table below shows some physical data, but due to variable composition the figures are stated in usually span:

Packaging, transportation and storage
Raffinate 1 is delivered from the tank farm towards down stream unit via pipeline. The rail cisterns are used for transportation of raffinate 1 to the foreign customers. Truck transportation is not possible. 

Processing and recycling
Processing of raffinate 1 depends on the kind of its using and it shall be fully under control of down stream manufacturer. Recycling of raffinate 1 is not possible.

Butadien

Butadiene is the final product of the pyrolysis of a C4 fraction processing by extractive distillation and rectification. As a solvent for extraction the dimethyl formamide is used.

Butadiene is used for the production of ESBR, SSBR, liquid rubber and ABS resins.

Butadiene is not for the use neither for sale for propelling vehicles or as fuel for the heating.

Under normal conditions, butadiene gas has a characteristic odor and its liquified phase is a liquid clear liquid.Some physical conditions of butadiene lists the table below:

Packaging, transportation and storage
The rail cisterns are used for transportation of butadiene to the foreign customers. The butadiene has to be more inhibited during its transportation, because the transported butadiene temperature slowly arises during its transportation mainly in the summer season. 

Processing and recycling
Processing of butadiene depends on the kind of its using and it has to be fully under control of down stream manufacturer. Recycling of butadiene is not possible.

Bentol

Bentol is a mixture of benzene and toluene with variable composition. Transparent liquid not soluble in water, soluble in organic solvents.

Emtal K

Emtal K is a water solution of potassium soap of disportionated thallium colophony with dry mass content 80%. Emtal K is a paste-like liquid of straw to brown colour with the characteristic odor. Being stored for longer periods of time, the product may become turbid and precipitate is formed.

Colophony sodium emulsifier

The colophony sodium emulsifier is an water solution of a mixture of sodium soaps based on the modified acids contained in thallium colophony. At the temperature 60ºC, the colophony sodium emulsifier, is a transparent liquid of straw to brown colour with the characteristic odor. In lower temperatures, the product becomes turbid and white to dark yellow precipitate is formed.

Electroplating bath additive

Polishing additive for electroplating. It helps keep reflective coating of thin-layer tin deposit, offering excellent long-lasting solderability and corrosion resistance. It is a perfect substitute for "Culmo" and "Stannostar" tin baths.

Pollux 6 and Pollux 7 should be kept in the original tightly closed containers in well-ventilated storage rooms at up to 25°C, protected against direct exposure to high temperatures. The products should be protected against direct sunlight and temperature of more than 30°C.  

 


Shelf-life: 12 months. To use the substance after the shelf-life , first check if its current parameters comply with the technical requirements.

The product is toxic and highly flammable. Highly flammable or explosive vapour/air mixture can be formed when the product is used. Harmful in contact with skin. Toxic by inhalation and if swallowed. When handling the product, do not eat, drink or smoke. Wear suitbale protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection. Avoid emission to the environment.

Phosphate converion coating concentrates

Phosphate conversion coating concentrates: KL-72 U, KL-72B, KL-73 U,KL-73 B are liquids added to phosphating baths for steel wire coating, both before and after cold forming. The structure of the phosphate coating protects the steel against corrosion. Phosphate conversion coating is a valuable, high-quality proces recommended for use in the following applications:  

  1. primer for paiting coats to improve anti-corrosive and mechanical propoerties of the surface when combined with the paint coating,
  2. coating for easier cold forming of steel: broaching, extraction, pressing,
  3. anti-friction coating to reduce friction coefficient and wear of parts exposed to sliding friction,
  4. insulation coating used for electrotechnical purposes,
  5. interim protection of goods while in transit, during warehousing and use, after the coating is saturated with short-acting protection agents.

The product is corrosive. Use general precautions. It can cause burns. Keep locked up and out of the reach of children. Do not inhale vapour. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Wear suitbale protective clothing. In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice immediately.
