ECO Energy

We focus on the development and diversification of energy sources.

We focus on the development and diversification of energy sources.

Our goal is to care for nature, stop negative changes and restore the climate.

Renewable energy sources

We are constantly looking for new ways to obtain clean electricity, the production of which does not have a negative impact on our planet.

Low and zero carbon activities

We have been successfully reducing CO2 emissions for years and we are constantly striving to ensure that our activities are as green as possible.

The energy of the future is getting closer! See how we intend achieving it.

Nuclear energy

We are pioneers in the development of nuclear energy in Poland.

As part of our group, we established the company , which aims to develop and implement zero carbon technologies and produce electricity from renewable sources.

The aim of our activities in this area is deep yet expected by everyone, the decarbonisation of Polish industry and the energy sector. Two key areas in which Synthos Green Energy implements projects are offshore wind farms and nuclear energy based on small reactors.

Synthos green energy- Announcements for shareholders

We are also working on solutions for obtaining hydrogen from high-temperature steam. A joint project with Ultra Safe Nuclear Corporation has been short-listed for the first stage of the competition for projects in the area of hydrogen technology and systems under the IPCEI (Important Projects of Common European Interest) mechanism.

In carrying out its tasks, Synthos Green Energy cooperates with a number of global energy and engineering companies with impressive experience in nuclear energy. With the support of the project partners, a regulatory dialogue has been initiated with the National Atomic Energy Agency to permit the BWRX-300 technology in Poland and enable the construction of a nuclear power plant.

The use of MMR or SMR technology will reduce CO2 emissions and ensure the stability of energy and heat supplies. Especially where wind and the sun cannot meet the demand and continuity of supply requirements.

As early as 2020, we began a feasibility study ready for the implementation of small modular reactors (SMRs) in Poland. The study was performed for the BWRX-300 reactor designed by GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy.

Photovoltaics

(Oświęcim, Poland)

We are aware of the fact that the power industry (in Poland and across Europe) faces serious challenges related to the need to adapt existing units to requirements that significantly reduce emission standards.

One of the elements of the energy transformation of the Synthos Group, and thus the diversification of energy sources – is the first industrial photovoltaic farm in Oświęcim.

The 1 MWp installation was built on the site of the production plant and in 2020 it was integrated into the Synthos energy system.

Thanks to it, we have reduced CO2 emissions and thus improved the air quality in the city.

Improving the quality of life of  residents in the areas where we operate is of utmost importance to us. That is why, we are planning to build more photovoltaic farms in other locations.

Ecological heating network

(Kralupy nad Vltavou, Czech Republic)

Our Tamero Invest CHP plant
It is powered by natural gas, which emits considerably less pollution than traditional fossil fuels (hard coal, lignite, crude oil).

The steam boilers installed in the CHP plant meet all the emission standards, in accordance with the BAT conclusions. The process of producing heat and electricity itself takes place in cogeneration – a technology with a much higher fuel utilisation rate than the technology of separate production of heat and electricity.

Our company, TAMERO INVEST s.r.o., has since 2021 been implementing a project to expand the existing heating network.

As a result, we will be able to supply even more heat generated in compliance with all environmental standards, to not only improve the air quality in Kralupy, but also to promote environmentally friendly heat sources.

Eco-friendly steam and gas block

(Oświęcim, Poland)

One of our main goals is to completely eliminate coal, which is currently used in the production process.

In order to have a real impact on the world we live in, we set ourselves the ambitious goal of using only low-carbon energy sources starting as early as 2028.

To achieve this, we have decided to build a steam and gas block in Oświęcim. This investment will make it possible to change the fuel mix of the existing CHP plant.

Thanks to this, both Synthos and the residents of Oświęcim will be able to use low-carbon
energy.
