NBR Nitrile Butadiene Rubber

Nitrile rubbers are used for manufacturing a wide range of technical products that require good resistance to oils, fuels and greases.

Due to their non-staining antioxidant content, these rubbers may be used to manufacture light- or brightly-coloured products. They are also suitable for use in food contact or potable water applications.

Synthos nitrile (acrylonitrile butadiene) rubbers are produced by low-temperature emulsion polymerization of butadiene and acrylonitrile and are sold under the KER®  brand. Three grades are available with differing bound acrylonitrile content.

All KER® NBR products are also available as bio/circular-attributed nitrile butadiene rubber under ISCC Plus certification.

Nitrile rubber is delivered directly to our customers in polyethylene (PE) foil-wrapped bales and packaged into returnable metal or non-returnable wooden boxes.
