Products of Synthos are mostly input materials for subsequent processing in both domestic and foreign rubber and plastics companies.
The quality assurance system covering all the processes used by the company was certified by the British company, Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance, in accordance with ISO 9002 in February 1993. In March 2002 it was re-certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and as a result of that quality system’s scope it was extended also into the area of designing new products and technologies as well. In the year 2003 the validity of the earned certificates was confirmed by an inspection visit paid by an auditor of Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance. This certificate was recertified in 2005 and repeatedly in 2008.
The group of the company’s important customers comprises direct suppliers of assembly elements and components for the car industry, especially producers of tires for both cars and trucks and manufacturers of electric car equipment. For that reason our customers apply also their requirements for system quality assurance in accordance with the car industry standards.
The car industry standards currently represent the most advanced quality assurance requirements and that is why components of ISO TS 16949:2002 were implemented into the company’s quality control system.
Application of that document in the company’s quality system necessitated not only a principal extension of the company’s quality system function but also its harmonization with the requirements of ISO 9001:2000 and control subsystems concerning protection of the environment and safety.
