Management System
- The quality assurance system is documented in the range of requirements of the ISO 9002:1987 standard and was put into test operation on February 1, 1993,
- On February 24, 1993, LRQA certified the company's quality assurance system according to the ISO 9002:1987 standard in the range of the production and commercial activities of the then "Elastomers" division, therefore for the production and supply of SBR and latex,
- On October 21, 1994, LRQA certified the production and supply of polystyrene polymers in the then "Plastics" division according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard and at the same time certified the "Elastomers" division system according to this standard,
- On July 17, 1995, LRQA certified the production and supply of refinery products in the then "Refinery" division according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard, including the production of the refined product butadiene and MTBE,
- On September 27, 1995, LRQA certified the production and supply of ABS, styrene and toluene according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard,
- On March 25, 1996, LRQA re-certified the quality assurance system of the "Elastomers" division according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard for the new three-year period and issued this certificate for the new "Petrochemistry" division. At the same time, LRQA singled out the refinery from the quality assurance system of Kaučuk, and transferred its certificate into the quality assurance system of Česká rafinérská, a.s.,
- On September 10, 1996, LRQA issued a certificate according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard for all commercial and production activities that remained in the sphere of Kaučuk, a.s., after its reorganization. The certified system included: SBR, ZPS, SPS, HPS, BPS, ABS, styrene, toluene, BTD and the refined product I,
- On April 31, 1997, the company's management decided to implement the QS 9000 requirements of the car industry into the quality assurance system of the company with the expected full implementation by December 31, 1998,
- As at July 1, 1997, the quality, ecology and safety system documentation was harmonized,
- On February 12, 1999, LRQA certified the environmental system of the company according to the ISO 14001:1996 standard,
- On September 23, 1999, LRQA re-certified the whole quality assurance system of the company according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard for the next three-year period with the exclusion of the Styrene III production and supplies, where difficulties persisted with start-up of the new production equipment. The currently valid certificate will be valid until March 2002,
- On December 22, 1999, LRQA certified the production and supply of styrene, toluene and bentol from the new production capacity, which completed the certification of the whole production activity of the company according to the ISO 9002:1994 standard,
- On May 16, 2000, the "Safe Enterprise" certificate was issued by the Czech Labor Safety Authority for Kaučuk, a.s., which is a national certificate for the labor safety and health protection system,
- On September 11, 2000, the management of the company approved a time schedule for the implementation in the company of the new quality assurance standard ISO 9001:2000 and the ISO TS 16949 international standard of the car industry with LRQA certification expected by March 2002,
- On March 1, 2002, LRQA re-certified quality assurance system of the company according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard and environmental management system according to the ISO 14001:1996 standard for the next three-year period. The currently valid certificates will be valid until February 2005.
- On 6 November 2003, the Czech Occupational Safety Office issued the "Safe Enterprise" certificate, verifying compliance of the occupational health and safety management system with ILO-OSH 2001 and OHSAS 18 001:1999, which is valid until November 2006;
- On 24 October 2006, the State Office for Labour Inspection issued the "Safe Enterprise" certificate, verifying compliance of the occupational health and safety management system with ILO-OSH 2001 and OHSAS 18 001:1999, which is valid until October 2009;
- On 12 March 2008, the re-certification of the quality system was conducted in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 and the re-certification of the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:2004 for another three-year period with effect until March 2011. The certified system of SYNTHOS Kralupy a.s. also comprises management processes outsourced to SYNTHOS S.A. (an organization unit of Kralupy nad Vltavou).
