In 1991, a first ecological program was approved by the management of the company, whose main objective was to correct the environmental damage from the past years and bring the company into harmony with the newly formed environmental laws. What follows from these laws for the company can be expressed simply: do not do any harm. However, the company is of its own will also interested in deepening its active cooperation with the region and the city of Kralupy n. Vlt. in creating a friendly environment in the broadest sense, so that employees and inhabitants alike would feel really at home in the region. This is also supported by the ecological management system of SYNTHOS Kralupy a.s. (EMS), which was introduced in the Kaučuk company in 1996. This system ensures that the environmental protection is taken into account in each activity and behavior inside as well as outside the enterprise. The system has been fully implemented and verified by a certification audit according to the ISO 14 000 standard, carried out by the independent firm Lloyd's with the Register Quality Assurance valid since February 1999. This is the logical result of volunteer ecological activities in which the enterprise has already participated since 1995 within the "Responsible Enterprising in Chemistry - Responsible Care" movement.

Responsibility is sometimes binding. However, the awareness of responsibility for the existing environment in which we work, live (and thus influence) must encourage us not to remain as unconcerned onlookers or only be dragged along by obligations. The effort to permanently improve the environment and labor safety has become a permanent part of the work not only of the management but also of all the company's employees.
